About the Editor
My path into fan editing began with Justice League. Seeing fans rework the film revealed how much meaning could be reshaped through restructuring tone and intent. My first project was ambitious and imperfect, but it proved something essential: the work mattered to me enough to pursue seriously.
A turning point came from studying detailed fan edit changelogs, particularly within the Star Trek community. The precision and intentionality behind those edits demonstrated how deeply a film could be refined while still feeling native to its source. That standard became the benchmark I aim for in my own work.
My process is driven by emotional connection to the material. I choose projects I care about and shape them into versions I want to return to. The challenge is creating something that feels renewed while remaining faithful to the original film.
Editing functions as both therapy and discipline. Every project teaches me something new, whether it's a technical skill or a better understanding of story. The goal will always be to uncover the strongest version already waiting inside the original film.
